Our Goal

Our Pillars

Our 2024 Vision of Building Up at The Apostolic Church comprises five crucial focus areas that collectively represent our commitment to growth, transformation, and purpose. These five pillars serve as the foundation for our mission to impact our community, strengthen our church family, and contribute to the growth of God's Kingdom.

We will focus on strengthening connections within our church, nurturing volunteersenhancing weekly classes, and launching vibrant small groups and family-centered programs. These initiatives aim to foster fellowship and discipleship, allowing us to draw strength from one another. And we know that communities involved in small groups have shown a 30% increase in consistent attendance and deeper relational connections within the church.

We’re investing in systems and processes that ensure cohesion, clarity, and efficiency. Every detail, from our core values to our digital voice, will be refined to echo our mission, ensuring we move forward in unity and purpose. We’re focused on refining processes for guest connection, kid check in, church databases to connect with members, and new ways to help keep us connected and in-the-know about church events and activities.

Our mission is as much inward as it is outward. From nurturing the spiritual and emotional well-being of our members to extending our hands in service and evangelism, we’re committed to casting our nets wider, making a difference both within our walls and beyond. Our church’s heartbeat is its people, and through service and connection, we’ll continue to strengthen our heartbeat.

In an ever-evolving digital landscape, our message remains timeless. We’re harnessing modern tools to magnify our reach, ensuring that the warmth, hope, and salvation we offer through Christ find their way into homes and hearts across the region and globe.

Our expanding church and community need spaces that inspire and accommodate. With a heart full of hope, we envision environments that are not just functional but also echo the spirit of worship, unity, and community. Every brick and beam will be laid with love and purpose, ensuring we’re building more than structures – we’re building sanctuaries.

Our Progress

Pillar 1: Discipleship & Groups

We have developed a strategic relationship with the discipleship and small group pastor form Saddleback Church in Southern California, Steve Gladen. We will partner with Steve to develop a plan for discipleship and small groups that meets the needs and aligns with the culture of our church. Watch for more communications and possibly invitations to help as we begin planning and developing our small group strategy and activities for launch in the fall of 2024.

We launched our Luke/Acts reading and “All-in” gather and worship mid-week meant to draw us closer together and to God.

Pillar 2: Infrastructure

We are transitioning away from Realm to Pushpay for our giving and church database. A strategic move that will increase our capabilities in the digital space. We’re very excited to announce changes coming to our check-in process, mobile connectivity, and communications. Stay tuned, this is BIG!

If you need help setting up your recurring giving in Pushpay, stop by the Welcome Desk on Sunday and we can help!

We also launched a new and updated website. It is currently being enhanced and will continue to transform in the coming weeks!

Pillar 3: InReach & Outreach

We are casting our nets far and wide to be the hands and feet of Jesus. In December we hosted Chris Tomlin to a crowd of almost 2000! A night of praise and worship to our King, who came as a babe, to be the light of the world.

In February we hosted Night to Shine. An unforgettable prom night experience, centered on God’s love, for people with special needs.

In March, we are hosting more events to draw the community to celebrate Easter with us!

Watch for upcoming events and ways you can connect and invite others into relationship with Christ.

Pillar 4: Production & Digital Outreach

We made a strategic move in the past 30 days to transition our live streaming platform. We are partnering with Resi (short for Resilient), a leader in live streaming will allow us to harness modern tech to reach more with the gospel without worry of tech problems and glitches. The move to Resi gives us a stronger foundation to build on.

You may have noticed big changes on stage with our new stage set up and design. A big thank you to our Production team, who  has also been hard at work installing new hardware backstage.

Pillar 5: Growth, Expansion & Space

Exciting developments at Auburn Hills Christian School! We’ve adjusted our tuition rates to better align with operational costs and peers in education. While we remain below our peers for costs, we remain above in our feedback from our parents and students.

Additionally, our new after-school programs will enrich student experiences beyond the classroom.

We hosted over 25 new families at our Open House on Feb 25th! Our strong re-enrollment numbers are encouraging and we have over 275 students enrolled for next year!
